Welcome to the Ol' Barn.

MANY YEARS AGO...

native timbers were felled and trimmed for a new barn on Bashor Road west of Goshen, Indiana.  More than 100 years passed and the old barn had become useless due to a deteriorating foundation.  With help from family, friends, and Amish barn builders, the Showalters dismantled the old barn and in 1990 moved it to its present location where it was set on a hillside overlooking ponds, woods, and open farmland.

      The goal was to combine old and new in a tasteful, artistic fashion—to create a livable family area with private space for guests.  The result is the Showalter home and Ol' Barn Lodging,  where visitors find warm hospitality and relaxed comfort.
